About Us
Chatterbox opened in January 2007. It is a family business run by Gary, Bowen and staff Wade, Shaun, Adam, Zal and other casual LAN hosts. Chatterbox is air-conditioned, clean & spacious. We stock a range of soft drinks, energy drinks, ice-creams, Byron Bay cookies, chockies, chips, jerkey, hot noodles, other snacks & lollies and are happy to make our customers cappuccino, hot chocolate or a nice cup of tea. Chatterbox has a friendly, homely atmosphere.
Chatterbox has 35 computers, all with a minimum:
- AMD Dual Core processors ( 2.5 or 3.0G)
- 22" LCD screens
- Windows XP
- 3G RAM
- 9600GT Video cards
Our 3 new VIP Computers have:
- EP 45 intel chipsets
- Intel 8600 3.3G Core 2 Duo
- GTX 285 1G Video Card
- High Resolution 24" DVI Monitor
- 4G Dominator Ram 1066 Mhz
We also have consoles for variety, including a SONY PS3, an XBOX 360 & Nintendo Wii. We have an extensive range of console & PC games - check the game page!
We have ample parking either next-door or in our own secure car park at the rear. Bikes can be parked at the back of the shop for security. We have security fencing for protection during LAN's and over-nighters.
